The Far Side

I knew when I took this photo of the Mourne Mountains I was supposed to be on the far side, having stood in a field for six or seven hours, with thundery storms and driving rein.....so riders could heist photos of themselves off my facebook page. I choose, instead, to relax indoors during the heavy rain and emerged only when it had subsided. I think I choose wisely. I got lots of invitations to attend but had accepted none so was under no pressure.

My time was better spent preparing for the arrival of my eldest grandson  returning, this afternoon, from a short holiday at Alton Towers in Staffordshire.....just saying
