Chichen Itza

So here we are in the Yucatan area of Southern Mexico. Over the next 17 days we are visiting Mayan archeological remains of the Mayan civilisation. We will be visiting Guatemala, Honduras and Belize.

This morning we went to the remains of the Mayan city of Chichen Itza. Many acres in area it contains a large number of temples and more domestic buildings. There is much more to be excavated but little cash to do

We are on the road a lot staying in 13 hotels during our stay. If they all have good WiFi like tonight I will be pleased. We are travelling with 10 people who we met yesterday and who, I think, will make pleasant travelling companions. Jack has already found two guys who like football, sadly not his team though!
