Swimming hole

A very hot day today and after breakfast we took the dogs out for a walk. We were pleased to see that the dead fox which had been slowly decomposing since the beginning of January, had gone, as Millie rolled in it last time we passed this way!
George had a drink and Millie went for a swim in this stagnant pond, so she smelled almost as bad as if she had rolled in dead fox again!
When we got back I painted the new shutters with undercoat, and watered the ground ivy with weed killer.
