Meall Bhuidhe

Due to the extreme heat of yesterday we decided on a 6 am start to avoid the heat.... it didn't work....

We managed to set a fairly fast pace up to Mam Barrisdale and struck up Luinne Beinne in good time, great views over Barrisdale and Glen Dessary from there. Then it was over to Meall Bhuidhe where the lurgy really kicked in and I slowed up big time. A long, hot and quite thirsty descent then ensued back to Inverie, nearly 12 hours in total this one. A quick shower and a snooze and it was time to get to The Old Forge for as fine a seafood dinner as I've had in years. Great night out with the team.

Oh and midges, fuck me, does Knoydart have some midges....
