Bread Baking at Last

This afternoon I finally found the time and inclination to make bread - the first time since the autumn and my move to Hamsphire.  It feeles good to have tested the oven on its bread baking and to have filled the house full of that lovely smell of freshly made bread.

A relaxed morning at home making a cake and doing some gardening; including potting up my French beans and tomatoes which germinated a couple of weeks ago.  I also found some time to just sit and relax in the sunshine and to have a walk on the heath just before dinner.
