The bee and the butterfly

Well, sort of .... scabiosa attracts pollinators. No sooner had I got my Scabiosa columbaria 'Butterfly Blue' (otherwise known as the pinchusion plant) home than the bees were on to it. They just couldn't leave it alone. Sadly I only photographed it in the evening when the activity had quietened down.

Spent the day planting more veg and ate two more of my strawberries. I hope others had an equally enjoyable and productive day in the glorious sunshine.
