Outside, looking in....
When I got up this morning my mission was to see if I could investigate the cap flap and get it working again. When I took it to bits, I couldn't see where the problem was but one part of it was very hot! Rather than risk the house burning down, I nipped up to Argos and bought a new one.
I managed to get the old one off and started putting the new one together. The problem was that I really needed at least four hands. I just couldn't hold the inside bit, the outside bit and get the screws in through both bits. I had to pop next door and ask Christine and Ben for a hand. Many hands make light work and we got it all together and all three cats programmed in, in no time.
The cat flap, like the last one, scans for the cats' microchip and will only let the door open if it is a chip that has been programmed in. This is Sheba checking it out before she comes in.
