Shooting Down The Valley

Woke this morning with an off road half marathon to race, and cold. I umm'd and ah'd then put the decision to my heart rate - usual rate at rest sub 60, but if it was less than 75, then turn up and run....74.

Glad I did, even if by my lowly standards it was less than sparkley. A well organised, varied, trail, field, road, woods, canal path, moor, fell, trail..... and some proper hills up and down. 

On my own this evening, so walked off some of the stiffness with DM, and now sat down with an earned beer, listening to Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Mayfield's new Album singing Elliot Smith Covers, stylish and chilled.
