Had a lovely day with some new friends of ours. Cake, a walk, lunch and a go on a violin! Julian is a violinist, not just a chappie who can play the fiddle, but someone who has played around the world and was the 2nd concertmaster in the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Aside from all that though, he's a genuinely interesting guy.
AND...he managed to get me to get some notes out of a violin!
