Ancient

This wee leather bound book sits on my windowsill and frequently manages to avoid being culled in the "throw things out" that sometimes happens.

It has a lovely wee box and is just so ancient that I can't bring myself to put it out, even though I don't want to read it myself. It was presented to someone in my family during the war by The Christian Science Reading rooms in Colchester.

I was taking pictures to show someone in a Facebook group but it turns out it was the only thing I took a picture of!
