Wood Pigeon

I've hardly left the house today apart from over to the paper shop so I've had to make do with this chap who was perched on the cable just outside my bathroom window.  Not long afterwards he flew off and if I'd got the shot about 1/100th of a second earlier it would have been great, but what I actually got was most of him up to his eye taking off, with the front of his head and beak out of shot.  I nearly used it anyway!
