This is Inveraray castle in Argyll. It's not an ancient one by Scottish standards. Home to the dukes of Argyll. Not known in history for their benevolent nature. The father of the present dooke was visiting the local psychiatric hospital once and was perturbed when one of the patients didn't acknowledge his dookiness. So he went back to him and said "you obviously don't know who I am,! Well I'm His Grace the dooke of Argyll. Patient's response "ha! Two more weeks in here and they will soon knock that dammed nonsense out your head" Nuff said.
