Beat, the dog with a hundred faces

Beat is a funny boy - his face is so expressive. It can be difficult to get nice pictures of him as he doesn't like the big black eye (the lens) staring at him, but today we played with a toy and lots of treats and I got some lovely shots, which really shows how wonderful he is, despite his weird ways*. I took the boys out for a morning training session. We played and trained for more than 2 hours and it was so nice. 

It was sunny, but cold so I started with my gloves on... Brrrrrrrrr... It got warmer as we worked, but it was nothing like the summer-like day we had yesterday.

After our training session, I put the boys back in the car and we drove 15 mins to the woods for our walk. 15 mins in the car after 2 hours of fun and play - and all 3 dogs were over-excited and behaved like they hadn't been out all day. If anyone had seen us, they would have thought, that those dogs never get to go for a walk! Silly boys!

Time for some house-work!

The story of Beat for those that do not know: Beat is a lovely boy, but he has always been 'funny'. The vet's theory is that he suffered from lack of oxygen during a difficult birth, which has caused brain damage. 
He behaves very much like an autistic child - he has very poor social skills (he is wonderful with people, but not with dogs), he has lots of stereotyped behaviours and he has problems organizing sensation coming from the environment, which means that he takes everything in, which of course is tiring and makes it difficult for him to concentrate for very long.
