Beamish Museum
Beamish Open-Air Museum held a special Photographers' Evening tonight, as part of their Steam Fair this weekend.
I was slightly disappointed that they didn't have any of their Steam Rail Locomotives going, but there were plenty of other things going on, and lots of folk in period dress. Needless to say I took over 200 photos and had trouble whittling them down.
This is my favourite of the evening - I like the intense concentration on the driver's face. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that about 12 inches under his feet is a mass of burning coals powering his bus!
