A Lamb is Born

Today I was lucky enough to see a lamb being born on the small holding where I've been staying while in SA. The owner, who happens to be a gynae, happen to pop home for a meeting when he was called to help with the delivery. In no time he had the baby lamb out and I was pleased to hear the first little cry. It was a beautiful experience and I believe mom and daughter are doing well. 17 years ago the very same gynae extracted my daughter out of my tum for which I'm also eternally grateful. It's been lovely spending time with her but sadly I leave again in two days :((((. Back to the old desert again for a while.
