Swinley Forest

I do love this place, although I have only explored a fraction of its several thousand acres. As I may have mentioned, it is a beautiful place to run.

It has been a film site, a possible Olympic mountain biking location, and the scene of a very real forest fire a year ago. It has a cafeteria, shop, playground, science exhibit and a Go Ape climbing area.

It has also been used for a Salomon Turbo X Trail Run, my muddiest boggiest 10 miler ever. Today was dry sunny and warm, and Josh and I went for a very enjoyable 3 mile run.
