Kingfisher with fish!

Very, very hot this weekend so even with my super new fold-up chair with built in shade(umbrella) it was uncomfortable bird watching. Mr. kingfisher was very active though, but in-between diving for fish he was flying back into the shade, whereas he would normally sit and survey the river from a nice vantage point. No new birds at the moment but the bird paradise island of Masirah(part of the Sultanate of Oman) should mean a bird bonanza coming up!
