Dawn redwood at the retreat

This is the only one of these in Maine. It was planted 50 years ago when the church we met in today was built.
We had a retreat today for our chorus. You can see the pictures by going to the Women in Harmony Facebook page. (You can like it too). This is a large chorus and we had a blast. What a change on a Saturday afternoon. I sat next to my friends Sara and Alex and didn't get in trouble once! Alex is originally from England. I love her accent. I keep trying to sneak in the word Aluminum, I am in love with that word.
This is an amazing group of women. Kitty Beller McKenna is our conductor. Under her direction we learn and grow every week.

I am so exhausted after today. My cold has left a residual reactive airway. I bought some colts foot tincture. Let's hope it works. I am going to bed early.
