Bird on a stick

The standard of wildlife photography, even at club level, is so high these days that a simple shot of a "bird on a stick" will never do well in a competition.  However, this is the only shot I managed to grab today in a break from painting and decorating.  I had planned to finish the work today, but a couple of minor hiccups mean that it won't now be finished until tomorrow.
