Dreaming spires
It had to be an Oxford shot today, on this most Oxford of days. In the morning OPS had arranged a tour of the Sheldonian Theatre, one of the main university buildings, designed by graduate Sir Christopher Wren, so about 20 of us went along for a guided tour, then some free time to take photos. I narrowly decided not to post shots of other photographers lying on the floor to get the best view of the painting on the ceiling (which for many years was the largest unsupported ceiling in the world). This is a view from the cupola on the top, definitely worth a visit.
The afternoon and evening were spent with friends, initially watching the boat races (well done to Oxford - a hatrick as their Reserve team won yesterday too), then playing games and chatting. Saturdays should all be like today!
