learning to like my new car

my car which I do not like has been for its service today. part of the package I paid for but hadn't realised.

Anyway, today I officially start to learn to like my car as I am not in a position to get rid of it for a while.

it's come out of the garage cleaned and valleted. it looked ok shiney and clean. I asked if they could do anything about the awful odour it came with and they appear to have made an effort so I thanked them for that.

I got in my car smacking my head on the roof as I got in. it felt different but I've been driving dads car around so I guessed it would feel strange. Off I set, I needed fuel, banged my head again getting back in the car, I needed dog food, smacked my head again getting in the car. I arrived home with a bad head!

Going out tonight, guess what I smacked my head again getting in the car, so I had a little look around, I felt high in my seat, the wheel didn't feel natural, you know when something just isn't right. I found this lever, handle, whatever, it moves the height of the seat. my seat has been too high all day. no wonder I smacked my head everytime.

so with seat adjusted to the correct height, a new smell, shiney and clean and with an 80's radio station on my Sony music system I am learning to like my new car.
