Allotment day

Managed to carve out time to give my half of our plot some tlc. M was there too which means cracking open the thermoses and sandwich bags together for a proper lunch break.
Two plots along is Alison (sometimes a sister planter, sometimes an angry digger, depending on her personal weather). Today she's mellow. And why wouldn't she be – it's like heaven up there. Massive bird song fills the air, sun warm – hats required –  but not too hot to get stuck into some serious bramble attack and path clearing. Always hard to leave on days like this.
