Late afternoon sun

The pond is full of frog spawn and yards of toad spawn and still the frogs and toads are very active!
But I love the way the late sun shone through these fritillaries - one of my very favourite spring flowers together with a sculpture that my sister gave me.
Heavy rain this morning and a cold wind all day but bright sunshine later this afternoon.
Won nothing on The National and yet again the boat race was just a procession!
