Dipping a toe in the water

After lunch in the garden we went for a walk along the cliffs at St Margaret's Bay, up to the lighthouse and past the yellow gorse, which overlooks the ferry port at Dover.
Back down on the beach we sat against the wooden breakers, warm from the sun. Andrew messed about on the guitar and Anya tried to eat pebbles!

We finished off a lovely day with a BBQ back at Mum and Dad's and a quiz by the fire.
