Spring garden

The garden has suddenly burst into colour! When we moved in, four-and-a-bit years ago, the primulas under this apple tree were just about the only flowering plants. Now there's something in flower every single day of the year. I love it!

Busy day! Home for a quick lunch before Mr M and went into Berwick with a list of things to do...
Also managed a couple of things that very definitely weren't on the list! Coffee and very yummy cakes at 'Miele' (the nicest tarte au citron on this side of the Channel). And put a deposit on an antique pine table at last - had my eye on it for months...
