Between a rock and a hard place

Nothing special about this, just a nice piece of rock - at eyelevel - against a backdrop of trees.  There is something in it which appeals to me somehow.

Casper escaped through the bathroom window at 9.30 last evening and had not come home by the time we went to bed.  Mummy got up at 3.30 am - opened the door and in he rushed.  Phew.  He has become so adventurous we wonder how long he will last.  

Mr C is missing Roo so much.  He is desperate for a dog and is scouring all the relevant websites for a mature, short-haired female who gets along with cats (hmmm, sounds pretty much like a replacement wife ...........)
