Paperweight

This paperweight usually lives on CH's desk, but I had fun this afternoon photographing it on various surfaces and in different lights.

I've made good progress with the rose bed today - one more session should see it finished so that I can move on to the next area on the list. It was quite sunny in the garden, but cold and windy, and I think I might have stayed out too long: I have a sore throat and I'm feeling a bit feverish, which is generally a sign that I've overdone things. A good night's sleep should sort me out.
