Saturday: Hand Carved objects
We acted as guinea pigs this morning for Mario, who is hoping to become a tour guide. He is a friend of Newman's and C's and was looking for foreigners to practice on. So there was a group of us who met at 1030 to have a tour round Dolac Market with Mario acting as our guide. It went pretty well but we did offer him some feedback - mainly that he shouldn't say 'I don't know' quite so often - either he should learn a few more facts or make something up!
We had a spot of lunch afterwards and then Newman, C, K and I enjoyed some afternoon sunshine. They came back via ours to pick up some fish that we had left over from yesterday - we have had a great afternoon chatting with the result that Newman and C are staying over and the fish is still here.
These little bouncy fellas are hand carved objects from Zagorje, bouncing away in Dolac market.
