Moving away from the pulsebeat

. . . of city life and live music, to the tranquillity of our local surroundings.

Back home and in the countryside again. We took the dog to local woods and up to the viewpoint there, stopping off on our way home at a nearby lake for lunch, and another walk.

The lake is the venue of my next event - I will be swimming in it next week in preparation for the Great North Swim in Windermere next month, trying out my wet suit for the first time.
