Lambs in action

A gang of them hurtling up and down the field – amazing to watch this play.

And playing is the clue to the solving of the mystery of the hole. The hole was dug yesterday afternoon and by the evening another one had appeared – both quite deep. We were curious.
 
We were out this morning, but by the afternoon we had the answer – a group of teenage lads who live in the village were playing - boys with their toys. They had been taught how to use the digger and so decided to amuse themselves by digging a few holes – there were some more by this afternoon. Then they had to fill them in again! Now there are just some bare patches in the field. They could be doing worse things I suppose!!
