From 5-oh to Glasgow

A Hawaiian tree-fern in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens.  One of many in the collection there.  We took dear daughter to Glasgow today as she wanted to go shopping.  The trade off was supposed to be that after lunch she would head off back to Edinburgh to go to an exam study class.  But we extended lunch due to meeting up with a friend who happened to be in Glasgow visiting from California (the wonders of Facebook!), so there was just enough time to pay a short visit to the Botanics as they didn't shut till 6.
