Nesting

I managed a slow walk up to the canal and spotted mummy duck with her ducklings.
They were on the other side of the canal to me, so I am really pleased with the zoom from my little compact camera. Unfortunately, the ducklings are a little out of focus!
Thank you everyone for all your kind comments regarding my leg. There is improvement today and hopefully there will be even more tomorrow. A little nervous about walking near water though, just in case any other insect takes a liking to me.
