Dolly at Doi Suthep

We drove up to Doi Suthep to see the rather impressive Wat Prathat! They go in for gold in a big way but I quite like it! The temples are really interesting to visit, a strange mix of tourists and worshipers, you wouldn't expect the two to mix but somehow it works! After that we went to a wee garden and tried to drive to a place called Mon Jam! We looked at the map and fillers what we thought was a through road, but we ended up a bit lost! The upside to that was that we rescued a tortoise from the middle of the road! I've never met a wild tortoise before, it was amazing to see one! After a quick photo, I set him down in the direction he was heading far from the road! We eventually got on the right road to Mon Jam where we had a lovely dinner with an amazing view!
