Riverside Pines

These magestic Scots Pines stand on the south side of the Tyne in Corbridge.  They are beautiful trees but are becoming fewer in number as they years pass and remains of one can be seen in the foreground of this shot.  The strong wind was bitterly cold so didn't hand around for long.  

Sadly back to work tonight after a brilliantly refreshing week off.
