Christina

This morning I met the lovely Christina for coffee at The Three Sisters in Killearn. Although I had seen her shortly after the emergency whipping-out of her appendix last month, it was good to see her looking well again.

Needless to say, it was obligatory, on this first visit, to test the baking for which The Three Sisters are renowned. We both tried a raspberry and coconut scone with butter and raspberry jam. Verdict: scrumptious!

You can tell from the window what kind of day it was. Over the 1.5 hours we were sitting there, we saw rain, sleet, hail and sunshine, but it's been mostly alternate sunshine and showers all day.
