Welcome to the world Megan Humphrey

Born by C section at about 04:30 today 11th April 2015. Well done to Luke and Cary and yes, I was surprised to have a granddaughter when I had been fooled into thinking I was having a grandson. Thrilled probably sums it up better.

We don't know Megan's Chinese name yet. They are not able to choose a Chinese name until after the birth as the precise timing of the babies entry into the world governs the names they can choose from.

Feels odd having a grandchild that I can't pick up and cuddle. I'm sure there are others who know how this feels better than me - we should start a club.. I can't even take photos of her so have to satisfy myself with tweaking Luke's phone snaps.

Expect to see more in days to come. I will try not to become too boring though.

Oh, and let's get one thing clear, I am not granddad, I am Ye Ye. Sounds much better to my ears.
