The Village

I was just sitting here, looking and watching while enjoying a coffee after a session at the gym. There was a pile of bags in the entrance belonging to a cricket team who were obiously on tour and had dumped their bags while they went outside to enjoy the warm sunshine.

I thought it made an interesting shot with all the lines pointing into a focus so I waited until someone filled in the gap created by the carpet and bingo!

The rest of the day was hard labour too, digging out more of the pond, moving rocks to temporarily form the edges then building up the spoil behind the rocky edge. Some of the rocks are huge, they cannot be lifted even by two people and have to be persuaded along the ground into position.

I enjoyed a long hot bath after all that.
