Landing Lights

Our small local airport only has the landing lights on occasionally. There isn't anyone staffed at the airport at night so I am not sure how they get turned on and off but it makes for an interesting sights (not necessarily as interesting of a photo as I thought it might be however.) My wife took a much more interesting picture of me taking this photo while kneeling on the top of the cab of my truck with the tripod. That was the only way I could get high enough to actually see the lights from the road. But, you do what you have to do, right.
