This is the view from the Royal Box in the Royal Albert Hall. No sign of the Queen, but I got a very good view of the AGM of the Women's Institute. At lunch time when they all decamped to Hyde Park for lunch, traffic was stopped and the regular tourists stood by in amazement. Speakers at the AGM were Lord Julian Fellowes and astronomer Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock. Old friends were greeted, new friends were made and, of course, Jerusalem was sung.
