Poldark Country

After yesterday's excitement we all slept late - even Red - and enjoyed a leisurely start to the day.

I cleaned bathrooms with some help from MrRoly then took Lily to Callum's and enjoyed a cuppa and a natter with my friend Elaine.

After lunch, Bella got stuck into history homework (most significant event from WW2 and why) while me and The Boys headed to Cambourne to the Model Train shop.

That was not successful but our quick visit to East Pool Mine was - even Ally said he'd enjoyed it and he enjoys nothing but crap telly and Minecraft!

I took us home via the scenic route I took a wrong turn but it was worth it according to MrRoly when we passed this engine house! Ghurka takeaway for tea and now we're catching up on Indian Summers. The Easter holidays have gone far too quickly :-(
