Blossom foreground and background

This tree is a key part of seeing the seasons in my garden (the bursting buds a couple of weeks ago were spirit lifting). After a reasonably productive day, I was trying to capture the latest state of the tree, with the ornamental pear blossom in the background. The real thing looked better than this!  Be grateful, the alternative shot was of piles of bindweed and plastic.

I'll try a foreground shot of the pear blossom another time.
Must go to feed, water and change the sand bath for next door's gerbils....
