Fifty Shades Of Green

The New shed is getting its first coat of paint.

We decided on the darkish green in the maker's shade card, went to the supplier, who said 'Oh, that brand is mixed to order in the same range as this brand', waved his hand towards a stand of hundreds of cards of every colour, shade and tone, then waited expectantly for us to make a decision.

We hastily chose this one, but, in the flesh, so to speak, it is rather more jade than the pine we wanted. The remaining paint will need a measure of dark green added for the second coat.
