I've been out quite a bit recently and will be out again tomorrow, but decided I really needed to capitalise on the good weather. Despite the warnings about air quality, I went down to the river for a couple of hours for a gentle stroll and a sit on the riverbank with a friend and watch others do the hard work - like a fisherman pulling a brown trout from the river, and even more delightfully, the pair of courting Dippers from my last visit had dialled it up and were building a nest. This one took a break to do a bit of posing.
