Playtime!

My day off, but had to get up at 7am anyway, as the car was booked into the garage to see if they could - finally  - locate the source of the screech/squeak/squeal which has been doing my head in for months. 

Stupidly, thought I'd take a potter around the retail park before it was time for my bus home.  Three shopping bags full later ............

Staggered home from the bus stop, bitterly regretting the weight of some of my purchases; but we REALLY needed that tin of Quick Dry Primer Undercoat today - while the car was unavailable.  Got some Red Hot Pokers to plant, and some nice new garden lights too. 

Put the kettle on as soon as I got in, but was too parched to wait for it to boil, so thank goodness I'd bought a 4-pack of beer on special offer! 

Swiftly despatched one of those, then hung up the washing, by which time His Nibs was charging around the garden barking at me, and dangling his Kong toy at my feet. 

Just going to give the floors a quick mop now, and then might sit outside with the paper for a bit.  Isn't life grand sometimes?
