North Wales day three
Memories of brighter days...
We took our leave of my mum and headed for Llandudno. Holiday destination for the northwest. Trainloads, coachloads, of folk heading out of the cities for their hard earned break - well, before the age of the affordable jet and the lure of the warm Mediterranean sea. The magnificent C19th hotel facades and the pier remain, and it's still a fabulous place to wander. The Great Orme also remains, of course, though we didn't climb it this time.
On the way back we stopped off at Bodnant Garden.
