Murky Waters

We went walking on the Lake Padden trail after breakfast. It felt quite warm in the sun, but chilly in the shade. I was surprised to see lots of blossoms already. I think Spring has arrived early this year.

We didn't walk as far as we'd intended, due to three unexpected encounters with friends -- C had wanted to get a high step count on her Fitbit today!

I thought I had the big zoom in the bottom of my camera bag, but found it was actually my big flash, so bird photos were out of my reach. I even had to scramble down a steep creek bank (and crop) to get my blip photo.
