I found...

...an enchanted tree.

I've seen this tree many times from a distance just off a local towpath but never knew how to get close to it but tonight I did.

I will hopefully venture to this spot for a star night shot in the not too distant future.

The drive home was gorgeous, with 18 degrees on dashboard and I thought about popping into Wolverhampton for another street shot but I'm glad I opted for rural on this occasion.

It's only blinking Friday tomorrow
