Have to confess I've no idea what this is. It was growing over the local golf course  (no I haven't taken up golf but do peer in through the gate as I walk by). It looked pretty with the backlighting. I also saw a terrapin today but it was a bit too far away for a decent shot. Up early tomorrow so won't be doing much commenting, will catch up over the weekend.
