At Last

I have heard the woodpeckers (up to 3 of them) calling to each other for a while.
I had even worked out the most regular tree for one of them.
Today I managed to spot one of them ....... and I even had the long lens on the camera

There weren't many tree rats around this morning (too many dogs and their walkers I think) but this one was looking a bit guilty about his strange coloured find (a new line I understand).

The sky was nice and blue today but I still managed to get a reasonably dark background to the Forrest Flame ........... and the blossom
