Fritillaria

The garden has leapt into life this week. The temperature has been so much higher than usual for early April and the flowers, plants (and weeds) have needed no second bidding. I know there's only a day of this warm weather left before the temperature reverts to something more April-like but it's been a very enjoyable spell. Here are some fritillaries nodding away in the breeze.

I've been wrestling and tussling with something for work for the past two days. This afternoon I admitted defeat, junked what I'd done so far and went back to the drawing board. By far the most sensible decision but I felt a bit downhearted. I'll be glad to get into the office tomorrow and do something different.
